Thank you for purchasing Wilcom from Embroidery Source. Follow the instructions below to get started with your Wilcom installation.
1. Go To: https://wilcom.com/embroiderystudio/download
2. Download EmbroideryStudio 2025 HL - Dongle Version.
(Any other version will not work.)
3. When the download has finished. Unzip / Extract the folder by right clicking and selecting Extract All… (This can take 5 minutes)
4. When this is finished, open the extracted version of the Wilcom 2025 Folder.
5. Double Click the Setup / Application file (see image below).
6. The installation may first need to update Microsoft Visual C++ and request a reboot. Make sure you save any other work before clicking “Yes”
Once the computer has restarted, the Wilcom installation should automatically resume.
7. Click NEXT.
8. Click “I accept the terms of the license agreement”. The software will take a moment to install some dongle drivers.
9. Attach your new 2025 dongle when it prompts to do so.
10. Attach your old dongle when it prompts to do so. (Only applicable if this is an upgrade).
11. Select a Typical Install.
12. The options above are only for additional languages. If only English is required, click NEXT.
13. Click NEXT
14. Then Click Install. This step will take 3 – 10 minutes.
15. Click Finish
