LEM-server advances embroidery machine connection and design distribution to the ultimate level of ease and reliability.

To find a design and load it into the machine there are two methods:

  • Type the design name using the machine's controller 

OR

  • Scan the bar code on the Wilcom design sheet using an optional bar code reader
  • Any changes made to the design like colour change sequence, using the machine can be saved back to the LEMserver computer for use on other machines.

Barudan LEMserver Pro

  • This highest level provides full machine monitoring and production reporting features. There are three extra components LEMwatcher
  • CEMnet
  • LEMreports


LEMwatcher -  provides a snap-show view of all machine statuses

  • View a summarised, real time machine status report including:
  • Which machines are turned on and are in drive mode
  • What design is currently loaded
  • If machines are currently running and at what speed
  • If a machine has stopped and why it has stopped


CEMnet -  gathers all machine status and production data 24/7.  Working in the background CEMnet constantly gathers data from each and every machine. The data is saved in a BIN file format which is then used by LEMreport.

LEMreport -   allows you to choose a start date and an end date for each report. You can also choose to see a report for all of the machines or just one machine at a time. 

Reports can be viewed from other computers connected to the network and even from remote computers using the internet. So, if you are way from your embroidery shop on business or on holiday you can still access real-time machine activity reports.

LEMreports are a very accurate way in which you can monitor:

  • The condition of each machine (if service is required)
  • The quality of embroidery thread used (increased thread breaks will be easy to identify)
  • Design quality (excessive small stitches will cause thread breaks)
  • The efficiency of each machine operator. (Run time versus stop time)


Here are some examples of reports:

  • How many hours each machine has run each day, week, month
  • How many thread breaks have occurred on each machine
  • How many items have been embroidered on each machine
  • How many times each machine has stopped - and the reason for the stop
  • How many times each design has been run


For example: A thread break report can show

  • Thread breaks for all machines or for just one machine


Information includes:

  • Machine name (ID)
  • Design name
  • Time at which thread break occurred
  • Sewing head on which thread break occurred
  • Needle on which thread break occurred
  • Stitch number at which the thread break occurred
  • Time taken to re-thread and re-start the machine


As you can see this type of information can be invaluable in regard to quickly identifying production issues related to machine problems, quality problems with thread and/or designs.
