PES2card(3) offers added versatility because it can read and write more kinds of embroidery cards.
Read And Save To Disk Functions:
PES2Card3 will read and "SAVE TO HARD DISK" the contents of Babylock, Brother, Simplicity, Bernina Artista or Deco, Pfaff 7570 or 2140, Janome, Elna, New Home, Kenmore, Viking 1+ and Rose compatible memory cards.
BBD cards that are copy protected will not be saved.
Write To Card Functions:
PES2Card3 writes most common embroidery formats directly to a card for use in Babylock, Brother, Bernina Deco, Simplicity, Pfaff 7570, Bernina Artista, Janome, Elna, Kenmore, New Home, Viking 1+ and Rose machines without conversion (pes, pec, phc, hus, huc, shv, pcs, pcm, vip, sew, jef, dst, dsb, exp, xxx, fmc, fdr, dat, emd, psf). It writes these different formats for your machine in the same programming cycle. No additional software is required.
Write To Disk Functions:
PES2Card3 writes the same embroidery formats mentioned above directly to a floppy suitable for use in home embroidery machines with floppy drives. This includes the Viking Designer 1, Babylock Ellageo, Brother ULT200x and Galaxie 3000 machines. No additional software is required.
Card Compatibility:
PES2Card3 does not come with a rewritable memory card because it has the unique ability to rewrite cards that already have designs on them. You probably already own one of these rewritable cards, therefore you may not need a blank card.
How much can I write to each card
Basically BBD rewriteable cards come in three sizes. Large capacity rewritable cards will hold approx 450,000 stitches or 50 designs. Medium capacity rewritable cards will hold 250,000 stitches or about 20 designs. Small cards hold 50,000 stitches or 4-6 designs. PES2Card3 can read and write to all rewritable cards currently known. This includes both types of Brother blank cards, the Viking 1+ or Rose blank card, and the Amazing Box blank card and others. See our Card compatiblity list for details.
Connectivity:
PES2Card3 is available with a serial port connection. A USB model is available but costs a little more.
What comes with PES2Card3?
PES2Card3 comes with a Design Browsing Software which makes it easy even for first time users to view, read, select, and write designs for their embroidery machine. A reader/writer box, cable, power supply, and easy to follow instructions are included with PES2Card3. Software updates are free via the Internet.
